And now… Now I have stepped into this spectacle. Into the museum of my life. ”
Zoi Johansson b. 1989 is an artist and poet living in Stockholm where she quite recently finished her studies at the Masterprogramme in Fine art at Konstfack.
Zoi has previously studied at the Oslo Academy of Fine Arts, Nyckelviksskolan and Grafikskolan. In addition to her master SOLO “Dåets Ridå”, her recent exhibitions include the solo show “Porten till det förflutna” at Farsta Galleri, group exhibitions such as “Sleep Over” at BASIS , “How to Disappear Completely” at Galleri Assesor, “Microwave” at Konsthall C, etc.
Right now Zoi is working towards a SOLO exhibition at Richter/Holtermann opening in August 2026,
Zoi works with relief and sculpture with an ancient plastering technique from Morocco called Tadelakt, that she combines with ancient stories from The Black Sea, where her ancestors are from. In her art she puts the material hardening beside the psycological hardening of the mind and create a path into the past aswell as into the future.
